As girls, I really feel we’ve been led to consider that a lot of our experiences are indescribable, incommunicable; that even once we can determine the way to speak about what occurs inside our our bodies and our minds, that we’d higher not — that others don’t need to hear it as a result of it’s too gross, too unhappy, too unusual. My collection for BBC Three, "Physique Language," rails towards stigma surrounding girls's well being by creating an vivid language for externalizing our innermost experiences. Episode one covers antenatal melancholy, an neglected and extremely stigmatized medical situation that leaves girls struggling in quiet isolation.
