My work focuses on altering the human type by affecting its determine with only one easy intervention. Images of the human physique are printed onto translucent silk which can create the potential of bodily layering completely different physique’s, ages, generations and identities.
In a dance efficiency, the shifting physique manipulates the material so the physique and the silk turn out to be one, distorting our notion or revealing a totally new bodily type. The motion then brings this to life.
